Shell Trading Services Company is currently seeking a Business Analyst for their Houston, Texas location.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with other functional teams and the Blueprint Integration Manager to ensure processes and designs work from an end-to-end perspective
* Work in a team environment that includes business resources, IT resources and consultants
* In the role you will be working closely with other Analysts such as programmers and test coordinators within other departments
* Work closely with end-user stakeholders to understand the types of information needed, frequency of need, variables that impact the information, the degree to which the information changes and the desired format for the delivery of information to determine the appropriate programming languages, platforms and systems to meet the need
Requirements:
* Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
* Bachelor's degree along with Business Analyst Certification
* Experience with developing a project plan with milestones and planned project updates
* Experience with project scopes and specs
* Experience with the coordination of tracking success against established milestones
* Experience with the coordination that ensures all stakeholders are actively involved in the process by creating and developing communication tools to enable real-time information sharing and feedback
* In this role you will be required to gather requirements, analyze processes, write up functional designs, write test cases, test the system
* Experience working a business analysis meeting with business resources doing requirement and system designs
* Experience with hosting interview and stakeholder information gathering sessions to compile information collected in a well organized report or presenting results to project team
* Experience with documentation and support of traders in a front office environment
* Experience with the involvement of in-house compliance or auditing of current positions or even system security
* Experience working with the back office of trading scheduling and/or transportation departments to ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping and access to financial information is available
* Experience working with the back office to focus with link to front office and operations for the purpose of ensuring availability of financial data
* Experience working on projects gathering business requirements, conducting process design, modeling in systems such as OpenLink, Solarc, TradeCapture and testing functionality. These projects should either be in the trading or oil downstream business areas

Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Troubleshoot and repair electric motor control circuitry.
· Troubleshoot and repair electric relay and alarm systems.
· Troubleshoot and repair phased and DC electric motors.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical power generation equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical switch-gear equipment.
· Install, troubleshoot and repair DC battery banks and battery chargers.
· Remove, install, repair and test low-voltage distribution panels.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical explosion proof equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's).
· Test, troubleshoot and replace electric lighting systems.
· Test, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
· Test, troubleshoot and repair AC variable frequency motor drives.
· Test, troubleshoot and repair Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
· Install, test and connect electrical conductors.
· Read electrical drawings of control circuitry.
· Diagnose and apply results using voltmeters & amp meters.
· Diagnose and apply results using hydrometers.
· Diagnose and apply results using meggers.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical instrumentation.
· Troubleshot and repair fire and gas detection equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair 4160-volt equipment.
· Interpret computer diagnostics of electrical motor control systems.
Requirements:
As a condition of employment, you must qualify to receive or currently hold a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. You must also be willing to submit to and achieve satisfactory results from a Hair Follicle Drug Test, background and reference checks.
Also Required:
· A minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current industrial electrical experience.
· Willingness to support Shell's safety policies and procedures.
· Willingness to support Shell 's drug-free work environment.
· Willingness to work in small, confined places.
· Willingness to work on high platforms and to walk up and down steps.
· Willingness to walk on high elevation grating.
· Willingness to work in a versatile, multi-skilled team work environment.
· Past experience and proficiency in applying lockout/tag-out procedures.
· Experience and proficiency conducting Job Hazard Analysis and completing Permits to Work.
· Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on 120V and 480V equipment (power generation, distribution, transformers).
· Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on battery banks and UPS systems.
· Proficient in the use of basic electrical tool such as voltmeter, amp meters and meggers.
· Experience with 4160 Volt equipment is preferred.

* Work will be done in a customer focused, team environment requiring the ability to work effectively with others
* Champion for the Deliver the Limit (DTL) Completion Process & for the execution of DTL on the wells that are being completed
Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Significant experience in the budgeting, design & completion of producing/injector wells and the fundamental knowledge of offshore rig operations

* Experience with well systems in the office environment is desirable

* Experience in Well Modeling and Reservoir Performance
